The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) 511 Traveler Information System is a toll-free resource that provides real-time traffic information on Florida’s interstates, toll roads and other major metropolitan roadways. The 511 system provides information on crashes, congestion, construction and more. There are four convenient ways for motorists to receive traffic updates:

  • Visit FL511.com for interactive roadway maps showing traffic congestion and crashes, travel times and traffic camera views.
  • Download the free Florida 511 mobile app available on Google Play and iTunes.
  • Follow one of the 12 statewide, regional or roadway-specific feeds on X.
  • Check the TSA website (tsa.gov) for information on restricted articles in checked and carry-on baggage.
511 traffic information is collected and continually updated by Traffic Management Centers (TMCs) throughout the state. The data comes from sensors in and alongside roads, traffic surveillance cameras, and reports from Florida Highway Patrol, local law enforcement and Road Rangers.
